OUR WORK

Liberation Economy Town Hall

Our Challenge

Liberation in a Generation was preparing to launch the inaugural Liberation Economy Townhall in Florida, bringing together progressive leaders, organizers, and policymakers to discuss housing, jobs, education, and economic security. As the first event in a potential national series, the identity needed to feel distinct and memorable while staying rooted in the organization's established brand. We were brought in to give this moment a visual language strong enough to launch a movement, not just an event.

Our Approach

Smartistic centered the design process on what economic liberation could look like for communities of color, using intentional composition, layering, and dynamic forms to reflect open dialogue and collective vision-building. Every decision stayed closely aligned with Liberation in a Generation's existing brand system, so the new identity felt like a natural extension of the organization rather than a departure. The result was a visual foundation flexible enough to travel across formats while staying true to their voice.

Our Solution + Impact

The identity extended across a full suite of materials, including a one-pager, social media graphics, and a virtual attendee background, all unified across digital promotion and live engagement. This gave the townhall a polished, purposeful presence and laid the groundwork for a recognizable event brand as the series grows nationally. What began as a single event now has the visual infrastructure to become a lasting platform for reshaping the national conversation around economic justice.
